Libraries and Information East Midlands

acts as a contact for members of the region and its groups, offering information and advice as appropriate;
is an advocate for the LIS domain in the East Midlands with regional and national bodies;

The Regional Librarian submits a quarterly report to Regional Council giving a flavour of the range of activities the organisation is currently involved in. The most recent Secretariat reports are available as Word documents

Lynn is a member of the Circle of Officers of National and Regional Library Systems (CONARLS) and the The Combined Regions Management Board, the Inspire national Managment Board and the ACE Reference Online Steering Group, and is the East Midlands representative on Reading Partners. Lynn is currently seconded for one day each week to The Reading Agency to work in support of the development of the universal reading offer. She provides executive support to East Midlands Society of Chief Librarians.

Lynn maintains close links with the East Midlands Branch of CILIP and the region's special interest groups.
