Constitution

The current constitution of the Libraries and Information East Midlands (formerly EMRLS) was revised in 2003 and adopted at the Annual General Meeting on 23rd October 2003. At the 2004 Annual General Meeting a change of name for EMRLS was agreed and the document was amended to reflect this.

The Constitution is approved by the Charity Commissioners and may be amended only at the Annual General Meeting with the agreement of 70% of those voting members present.

Any proposed amendment must be notified to the Hon Secretary not less than 21 days before the meeting.
