Teaching Skills

Chris Powis and Jo Webb ran their first Teaching Skills for Library Staff one-day training event for LIEM in February 2009 in Leicester. The event was over subscribed with all 18 places allocated within 48 hours of the details being circulated. The course drew participants from public, higher and further education, health and special libraries across the region including some that are not currently members of LIEM. Participants were unanimous in their acclaim for the event and we are delighted that Chris and Jo have agreed to run two further Teaching Skills sessions for LIEM in 2009.
