Strategy: Strategic Plan 2006 - 2009

In October 2006 Libraries and Information East Midlands published its three year Strategic Plan.

The Plan highlights the organisation's recent achievements and sets out some challenging objectives for the future. LIEM is looking to strengthen existing partnerships and build new alliances to enable it to move forward on our five main themes of advocacy, resource sharing and co-operation, the development of skills for the library and information sector, lifelong learning, and partnership working.

Copies of the Strategic Plan have been widely disseminated to LIEM member organisations and other stakeholders. The Strategic Plan is available below as a PDF document, and printed copies can be obtained by contacting the .

An action plan setting out how the development activities will be delivered has been created by the Strategy and Planning Group and endorsed by LIEM's Regional Council. The action plan is available below as a PDF document.
