LIEM is offering a one-day training event aimed at team leaders and operational managers working in library, information and archives services to help them develop and enhance their skills in managing people.
As a result of this training, you will:
• Be clear on your role and responsibilities in relation to managing people
• Develop your own leadership style
• Performance manage in a way that motivates & gets the best from employees
• Identify actions to deal with your most significant challenge in managing employees
The training day will be held at the Nottinghamshire Archives Office, on Friday 23rd March 2012, from 9.30 – 4.45.
Lunch will be provided and coffee and refreshments will be available on arrival from 9.15 am and throughout the day.
Twelve places are available on the training day and a booking form is available below. Cost per participant will be £95 for LIEM members and £130 non-members.
