Libraries & Information East Midlands is a membership organisation which provides a strategic voice for library and information services across the region. LIEM has a long tradition of promoting partnership and co-operation:

- with partners in museums and archives

Celebrating the bi-centenary of Charles Dickens birth
A variety of library-based events in the East Midlands are being planned in 2012 to mark the bicentenary of the birth of Charles Dickens, which was on February 7th, 1812.
