Libraries & Information East Midlands is a membership organisation which provides a strategic voice for library and information services across the region. LIEM has a long tradition of promoting partnership and co-operation:

New and refurbished libraries open in the East Midlands
The new £1.4m Chaddesden Library in Derby has now officially opened,
replacing a 59 year old building.
Loughborough library - the biggest in Leicestershire - re-opened at the end of 2012 following a seven week closure as part of a £1.3m revamp and West Bridgford Library in Nottinghamshire has re-opened after a major £5.3m re-development.
