Moving from Middle to Senior Leadership of a 21st Century Library Service takes more sill than just being able to manage people! In this course we look at some of the other skills needed such as

This one day course will bring in leaders in our modern services to share their expertise and allow you to consider how you can develop these skills most effectively for your situation whatever sector of Libraries or Information Services you are in – or want to move into.

Teaching Skills for Library Staff

The course which aims to build on participants’ current experiences of teaching information skills in libraries and learning centres, offers stimulating discussion and an excellent opportunity to share experiences. If you are working with young people, students, small groups of library users or staff this course will help you develop your skills as a teacher and trainer.
